Author Spotlight: Gustav von Zitzewitz
Gustav started his technical journey in decision logic for robotics at the Technical University Munich, known for its strong engineering programs. His first professional project was at Bosch Siemens Home Appliances, where he applied deep learning to computer vision for a mobile robot. After a few years, he transitioned to natural language processing (NLP) at BMW. One of his primary projects involved developing a duplicate detection system, a vital tool for the leading automotive company.
Gustav's most recent role is at DataRobot, an industry-leading autoML platform. He's currently working on time-series modelling, an advanced area of machine learning.
Aside from his full-time work, Gustav enjoys spinning up small open-source projects and contributing to the community. He maintains several projects on GitHub, some of which have received recognition in their respective technical sphere.
