How do tokens work?

Tokens are the individual elements that an AI Agent uses to communicate, process and create an output based on the users needs. Tokens are essentially chunks of information. Tokens are not always whole words, it's typically:

1. A whole word (like "chat"),
2. Part of a word (like "un-" or "-ing"),
3. Punctuation and spaces.

Tokens are also used in multimodal data to ingest, parse and understand what the data is such that it can be recalled later as use in the responses themselves or as references towards a response. Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Upgrading or downgrading between our Free and our Pro plan can be done through Stripe. Upgrading or downgrading to or from our Enterprise plans can be accomplished by contacting us.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

Currently, only our Free plan has limits in place. Once you reach your daily limit you must either upgrade to a Pro or Enterprise plan or wait till tomorrow to continue using Activeloop. For our Pro plans, once your organization has used the included tokens and storage, you will be billed at a pay-per-use rate.

How does multimodal search work with my data?

When you ask Activeloop L0 a question or search for something, it doesn't just do a simple keyword match. It intelligently searches through that AI-created chunks of all your data to find relevant information, no matter what format it was originally in. If you ask "What were our sales figures last year and were they discussed in the annual meeting video?", L0 can find the sales figures from a text report and also find the moment in the meeting video where someone talked about those figures. It then compiles the answer and even shows you where it found each part of the answer (e.g. citing the report page and giving a timestamp from the video). The heavy lifting (like indexing and understanding the data) is automated by L0, so you don't need to manually prep the data – no laborious tagging of images or transcribing audio yourself. You just load your files in, and it takes care of the rest. When it comes to data that is ingested from external sources, it will work the same way. Activeloop is a powerful tool that enables you to ask your data anything you'd like.

If you do ever make the decision to leave Activeloop, all the data that you store with us will be permanently and securely deleted. This means if you decide to reactivate a membership with us, you will need to re-upload your data again.

Activeloop storage scales infinitely based on your pricing plan. Please note the data storage limitations for each pricing tier are imposed on any data in our format that you plan to use with Activeloop. For Pro plan users you will be billed at $0.99/gb after your included 10GB. For our Enterprise customers, feel free to contact us and we can tailor a storage plan that fits your needs.

How is data versioning handled?

Enterprise customers who are utilizing our versioning feature will have their data backed up using Activeloop storage so that we can accommodate the ease of use and power that is associated with versioning.

Does the tool integrate with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, document management systems)?

Yes! Currently Activeloop supports integrations with external sources like Confluence or Google Drive. For our Enterprise customers we have a lot more options, contact us to learn more. If it turns out we do not already support integrating your data then we will work closely with your team to make sure that we either create or find ways to bridge the system so your data can be securely accessed by Activeloop.
